Musical Parties for 1-6s- the original Ilana Banana Party

All your child’s favourite sing and dance-along nursery rhymes, action songs, kiddy hits and musical games with instruments, puppets, parachute and bubbles. All songs played live on ukulele. Choose from 30mins, 45mins or 1 hour

Disco Parties for 3-6s

Up to 1 hour* of boogie bliss and funky fun. Lights, snow, bubbles, parachute games, loads of props and a playlist consisting of Disney, pop and classic party hits. This is an energetic and highly interactive party that will have you moving, grooving and smiling from ear to ear. Disco parties provide a great excuse to get ALL the family on the dancefloor, laughing, wiggling and bonding through boogie. This is not a spectator event! *Please note I arrive 20 mins before to set up, first 15mins is music, bubbles and stickers whilst guests arrive, then the 1 hour entertainment begins!

Mix Parties for 2-5s

Part musical and part disco, this party offers the best of both worlds. Half live music and half disco magic. Choose all your favourite songs and I’ll include them. Full of games, actions, fun, singing and dancing, this party has something for everyone. 45 mins -1hour

Zoom Parties

30 mins of online interactive fun. You can choose any of the parties above. You can also arrange for prop/gift bags to be delivered to guests before the party to be used during. Invite as many guests as you like.

Here are some tips and considerations for a great party:

• Goes without saying, you need food and drinks and it’s always good to have some for the grown ups too.

• Always best to have background music ready, it really adds to the atmosphere.

• If at home, make sure there aren’t too many toys lying around. Little kids will get distracted easily, no matter how good the entertainer is.

• Don’t expect 100% attention from 100% of the kids 100% of the time. It’s just not in their nature and that’s ok.

• It’s not uncommon that the birthday child will feel quite overwhelmed. ‘What are all these people doing in my house and why are they all looking at me?’ A good entertainer will be sensitive to the child’s needs.

• Encourage the grown up guests to join in- the kids love it and it really helps the entertainer too! If a small child does not know the entertainer they will want to cling to their parents/carers. If a small child can’t hear the entertainer, it won’t be half as much fun for them.

• Don’t worry if you have time left at the end of the party with nothing to do. In my experience, kids are happy just to be let loose to run around and play. If you do want to be a bit more prepared, this is a good time to do a ‘pass the parcel’ or have some colouring or simple art activity.

• Most importantly, as long as your child is surrounded by love, laughter, good friends and a bit of cake, it will certainly be a fabulous day to remember!
